Dear Customer,

Pulsant will be carrying out the following planned maintenance on Hall 1 UPS B feed at our South London Facility.

WHAT
As part of our improvement program to upgrade infrastructure in our South London facility, it is necessary for us to modify the Hall 1 UPS B feed supply delivered on site.

SERVICE IMPACT
NONE. There will be no interruption to service during these essential works. However, due to the level of switching that will be undertaken during these works, we are issuing a courtesy At-Risk notification to our customers.

DETAILS
A temporary UPS will be installed to complete the works. Pulsant will transfer the existing UPS B Feed to the temporary UPS before the work is carried out. Once the maintenance has been completed, there will be further notification sent out that will inform you we are transferring back to the new permanent UPS B feed on site.

We have a maintenance window of up to 6 hours to allow us adequate time to complete all the necessary works, testing and commissioning.

We will remain with N+1 power support during the maintenance window and on UPS protected supply throughout and until all works and testing has been completed. There will be reduced resilience during this transfer and this maintenance does involve changes to UPS power source to the B Feed, hence an At-Risk notification is being sent out.

Pulsant has been preparing extensively with our contractor for these essential maintenance works. We will have a number of different contractors and Pulsant personnel on site including expert contractors to support our Generators, UPS devices and electrical infrastructure.

WHEN
Monday 1st April 2019, commencing at 10.00GMT and completed by Monday 1st April 2019 by 16.00GMT.

Pulsant have requested this to be undertaken during the day. This decision has not been taken lightly This is to mitigate risk (due to amount of electrical switching, greater visibility and ensure have all appropriate parties on site If there are any issues, then we have suitable availability of resource on all aspects to ensure able to react accordingly.
