Scheduled
Dear Customer,

Please be aware of the following planned maintenance window for modification of UPS A Feed Supply at our South London Facility.

WHAT
As part of our project at our South London Facility to upgrade some of the infrastructure it is necessary for us to modify the UPS A feed support delivered on site to enable us to complete the next phase of this project.

SERVICE IMPACT
NONE - No interruption or disruption to service is expected during these essential works, however due to the level of switching that will be undertaken during these works, we are issuing a courtesy At-Risk notification to all our customers.

WHY
As part of the larger project with regards to upgrade of some of the on-site infrastructure serving the site, it is necessary to make a modification to the UPS A feed supply delivery on site.
To that end, we will have installed a temporary UPS set on site. To complete the associated works, it will be necessary to transfer the existing UPS A Feed to this temporary unit to enable us to replace the infrastructure as part of the project. There will be no reduction in resilience during this temporary provision.

Once works have been completed, there will be further notification sent out that will inform you of when we are transferring back to the new permanent UPS A feed infrastructure on site.

We have provisioned a maintenance window of up to 6 hours to allow us an adequate time window to complete all the necessary works, testing and commissioning

Works are expected to be non-service affecting as customers will remain with N 1 power support and on UPS protected supply throughout until all works and testing has been completed. There will only be a reduced resilience during this transfer switching over to the temporary UPS supply. This maintenance does involve changes to UPS power source to the A Feed, hence the At-Risk notification being sent out.

Pulsant has been preparing extensively with our contractor for these essential maintenance works.
We will have a number of different contractors and Pulsant personnel on site including expert contractors to support our Generators, UPS devices and electrical infrastructure.

WHEN
Pulsant confirm that the maintenance window is noted below and the associated At-Risk period:

Monday June 17th 2019, commencing at 10.00 BST and completed by Monday June 17th 2019 by 16.00 BST.

To mitigate risk and impact, Pulsant have scheduled for these works to be carried out during the working day.
A further broadcast notification will be sent out in due course, when we have completed the installation and testing of the new UPS A feed infrastructure and transfer back accordingly.

The At Risk window will be kept to an absolute minimum and the site will have utility mains power restored and resuming full site protection at the earliest opportunity.

Pulsant thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support

Regards,
Pulsant Support Team
