Scheduled
Dear Customer,
Please be aware of the following planned maintenance window for Power modification at our South London Facility.

WHAT
As part of our project at our South London Facility to upgrade some of the infrastructure it is necessary for us to modify the power network delivered on site.

SERVICE IMPACT
NONE - No interruption or disruption to service is expected during these essential works, however due to the level of switching that will be undertaken during these works, we are issuing a courtesy “At-Risk” notification to all our customers.

WHY
As part of the larger project with regards to upgrade of some of the on-site infrastructure serving the site, it is necessary to make a modification to the power network delivery on site.
To that end, we will have installed a temporary Generator set on site. To complete the associated works, it will be necessary to isolate the Mains to site so that the modification to the power network can be completed safely. The temporary generator will be cover providing power to the site, but we still maintain our N+1 Generator standby support if there were any issues.

All diesel supplies to the site have been checked and confirmed adequate supplies, reserve supplies are on standby.
There will be a 24 x 7 on-site presence during this essential maintenance window, and we will have the fuel supplies replenished as required during this time

Once works have been completed, any standby fuel supplies will be replenished accordingly.
We have provisioned a maintenance window of up to 3 days to allow us an adequate time window to complete all the necessary works, testing and commissioning

Works are expected to be non-service affecting as customers will remain with N+1 power support and on UPS protected supplies throughout until all works and testing has been completed. This maintenance does involve changes to power source to the site, hence an At-Risk notification is being sent out.

Pulsant has been preparing extensively with our contactor for this essential maintenance works.
We will have a number of different contractors and Pulsant personnel on site including expert contractors to support our Generators, UPS devices, electrical infrastructure and most importantly Pulsant network and site support staff.

WHEN
Pulsant confirm that the maintenance window is noted below and the associated At-Risk period:

Monday 25th March 2019, commencing at 10.00GMT and completed by Thursday 28th March 2019 by 17.00GMT.

To mitigate risk and impact, Pulsant have scheduled for these works to be carried out during the working day.

The “At Risk” window will be kept to an absolute minimum and the site will have utility mains power restored and resuming full site protection at the earliest opportunity.

Pulsant thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support

Regards,
Pulsant Support Team
