Scheduled
Dear Customer,

Following on from our previous communications with regards to our South London Data Hall 1 (DH01) upgrade and replacement project, there is a requirement for the utility provider and contractor to conduct testing. The testing is in order to confirm operational continuity of service as part of the infrastructure upgrade project.

SERVICE IMPACT
NONE There is no service impact expected, however as part of the works it is necessary to undertake load switching to perform testing and confirmation of settings prior to finalising works and complete commissioning in line with the original plan. This will involve testing of the feed to the panel, Transformer (TFX) that feeds the panel and failover to Generators.
To that end as a matter of courtesy we are sending out an Awareness notification to our customers. Pulsant racks will remain protected on both feeds throughout these essential works. These tests follow Pulsant standard testing process as per our scheduled maintenance activities.

WHY
This forms part of the on-going project where we are replacing critical infrastructure that supplies services to our DH01 in our South London facility.
This work is to ensure that the new infrastructure can be tested in isolation to the new supply as part of the electrical ring network and energising the Transformer (TFX) and complete initial testing with the utility provider.

We have provisioned a maintenance window of up to 6 hours to allow us an adequate time window to complete all the necessary works, testing and initial commissioning of the new infrastructure.
Pulsant has been preparing extensively with our contractor for these essential works. We will have a number of different contractors and Pulsant personnel on site including expert contractors to support our infrastructure during this maintenance window.

Works are non-service affecting, however due to electrical switching and working with the utility company we are notifying customers of this At-Risk maintenance window.

WHEN
Pulsant confirm that the maintenance window is noted below and the associated At-Risk period:

Thursday 11th July 2019 commencing at 09:00BST and being completed by 15:00BST.

To mitigate risk and impact, Pulsant have scheduled for these works to be carried out during the working day.

The At Risk window will be kept to an absolute minimum and a further broadcast will be sent out once all works have been completed.

Pulsant thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support

Regards,
Pulsant Support Team
