Pulsant engineers will be performing core network maintenance at our Telehouse East London PoP. This work is to replace hardware within the core network device which was originally planned for end of February, however due to the recent incident with this device this has been brought forward to mitigate any future risk.
Customers with non-resilient DC Connect services terminating on this device will experience an outage of up to one hour during this maintenance. Also, customers with non-resilient DC Connect services from our Reading DC to either Milton Keynes, Maidenhead, Newbridge, South Gyle or South London will also be affected. Pulsant IP transit will be at risk during the maintenance and short periods of latency or service interruptions may be experienced during this time. Pulsant ADSL customers will see an outage of around one hour during this maintenance.
This maintenance is essential to replace ageing hardware which is nearing end of life and has recently experienced a fault.
The maintenance will take place during the following window:
Start: Monday, February 4th at 21:00h GMT
End: Tuesday, February 5th at 02:00h GMT
The outage window is expected to be around 22:00 after preliminary work has been completed.
The all-clear notification will be sent as soon as the work has been completed.
